About Us

Paladino’s Cucina owned by husband and wife duo, Joe and Danii Paladino, is inspired from their rich Italian heritage and upbringing stemming from southern Italy, namely Calabria.

The dishes at PALADINO’S are a reflection of their rustic peasant roots boasting authentic and untampered flavours which need no justification. Each dish tells a story reflecting a person, a special event or an experience. At the same time, they bring their own touch to the menu by featuring weekly chef’s specials usually inspired from their travels across Italy where summers were spent with relatives cooking, eating and of course, story telling.

Paladino’s Cucina was started in 2021, when the couple stumbled across a vacant site. Recognising an opportunity they quickly brought their vision to life, turning the old Tongue Thai’d site into the a place where people come to gather over authentic Italian food and great wines. Having always had a burning passion for hospitality and a longing to share their love of Italian food, the couple brought their vision to life and now proudly represent their cultural heritage through a culinary nostalgic lense.
